Accessibility Statement
D2HoopsToo is committed to making d2hoopstoo.com accessible to everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and screen magnifiers. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the site.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard most widely referenced for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The site substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA.
What we’ve done
- Text and interface colors meet AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and controls).
- All interactive elements — navigation, the command palette, portal filters, and expandable cards — are operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- A “Skip to main content” link and proper landmark and heading structure for screen-reader navigation.
- Form fields have programmatic labels, and validation messages are announced to assistive technologies.
- Motion respects the operating-system “reduce motion” setting, and the news ticker pauses on hover and keyboard focus.
- Verified with automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.0/2.1 A & AA) and manual keyboard and screen-reader review.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:
- Third-party content we embed or link to (e.g. social media platforms) is outside our direct control.
- Newly published content is reviewed on an ongoing basis; if you encounter an issue, please tell us.
