University of North Georgia basketball teams take aim at lofty goals
The University of North Georgia’s men’s basketball program announced its objectives for the 2026‑27 season, emphasizing a push for the Peach Belt Conference title. The coaching staff highlighted the need to improve on last year’s performance and develop the roster that returned several key contributors. The team will look to leverage its home‑court advantage at the UNG Sports Center and rely on a balanced offense and disciplined defense. These lofty goals signal a renewed commitment to elevate the program within Division II competition.
