Gannon Wins First-Ever DII Title — Then Watches Three Starters Hit the Portal
Gannon's 84-61 dismantling of Lander on April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse delivered the program's first-ever NCAA Division II national championship and capped a 34-3 season. The celebration was short. Within four days, MOP Pace Prosser plus starters Lucas Sekasi and Victor Desmond all entered the transfer portal. Prosser has since committed to Siena. Coach Bazzoli now faces a championship roster rebuild that defines the modern portal era.
