Gannon Wins First-Ever DII Title — Then Watches Three Starters Hit the Portal
Gannon's 84-61 dismantling of Lander on April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse delivered the program's first-ever NCAA Division II national championship and capped a 34-3 season. The celebration was short. Within four days, MOP Pace Prosser plus starters Lucas Sekasi and Victor Desmond all entered the transfer portal. Prosser has since committed to Siena. Coach Bazzoli now faces a championship roster rebuild that defines the modern portal era.

Pace Prosser Commits to Siena — DII Title Game MVP Lands in MAAC
Gannon's Pace Prosser, the 2026 NCAA Division II Championship Most Outstanding Player, has committed to Siena according to the Times Union. Prosser averaged 18.6 PPG for Gannon's title team and dropped 28 PTS, 11 REB, 5 AST, 5 STL in the championship win over Lander.
